Dental Care for Every Stage of Life

Cleanings and prevention

Dental cleaning is a routine procedure performed by a dental hygienist to remove plaque and tartar buildup from teeth and gums. It involves scaling to remove buildup, polishing to remove stains, and flossing to clean between teeth. Regular cleaning can help prevent cavities, gum disease, and bad breath.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry refers to dental procedures that are primarily designed to improve the appearance of teeth, gums, and bite. It includes a wide range of treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, and orthodontic treatments. The main goal of cosmetic dentistry is to enhance a person’s smile, boost their self-confidence, and improve their overall oral health.

Crown, Bridges, Dentures

Crowns, bridges, and dentures are dental prosthetics used to replace missing or damaged teeth. Crowns cover and protect weakened teeth, bridges fill gaps from missing teeth, and dentures replace multiple or entire sets of teeth. These prosthetics improve chewing, speaking, and smiling, while also enhancing oral health and appearance.

Endodontics

A root canal is a dental procedure used to treat a tooth that has become infected or damaged, typically as a result of deep decay or injury. During the procedure, the dentist removes the infected or damaged pulp from the interior of the tooth, cleans and disinfects the root canals, and seals them with a filling material.

Implants

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed into the jawbone to support a replacement tooth or bridge. They are typically made of titanium, which is a biocompatible material that fuses with the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for the replacement tooth. The implant itself is not visible, and the replacement tooth is custom-made to match the color and shape of the surrounding teeth for a natural-looking result.

Oral Surgery

Oral surgery involves surgical procedures in the mouth and jaw area, covering treatments like tooth extractions, jaw surgery, and biopsies. A specialized oral surgeon typically performs these procedures, using their expertise in mouth and jaw surgeries. Depending on the complexity, local or general anesthesia is used. Oral surgery can resolve various dental and oral health concerns, including impacted wisdom teeth, facial trauma, and jaw alignment issues.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. It involves the use of braces, aligners, and other dental appliances to correct crooked teeth, overbites, underbites, and other misalignments. The goal of orthodontic treatment is to improve a person’s bite, enhance their oral health, and create a more functional and aesthetically pleasing smile.

Periodontics

Periodontics is a specialized area of dentistry that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, also known as gum disease. It includes the management of inflammation and infections affecting the gums, bone, and other supporting structures of the teeth.
